Project 11 Communal Courtyard Area for 4 Barn Conversions
 

The brief for these Four Barn Conversions was for an attractive communal courtyard area that was both practical for all the cars and access but also had a garden feel and did not just look like a corporate new build development.

Box hedging was added for structure and parasol trees in the centre to create some height and context then we filled the beds with perennials, roses, shrubs and hundreds of bulbs! The result is a season of interest all year round with the box keeping it neat and tidy and the addition of one lawn adding some green. Spring is particularly impressive with bulbs from February through to May.
